Sunday’s Mini Saga Challenge #3

A mini saga is a story of exactly 50-words. It is also sometimes known as a dribble!

Every Sunday I am going to post a prompt to challenge you to write a short story of exactly 50-words.

The prompt will be a photo (taken from Pixabay). If you want to share your story then please write it out in the comments below or leave a link to it on your blog.

Have fun and I look forward to reading your stories.

  1. The world is on fire. Flames are running down the skyscrapers, dusting the sky in grey colours. We don’t hear the neighbours’ child roaring. Maybe they are already suffocated or burnt down. I want to say that I’ve loved you with all my heart. I feel my feet are scorching.

    A saga story by me.

  2. They are back.  Stronger than before.  We knew it was just a matter of time. Yet we did nothing.  Now, it is here.  The destruction of our cities, our culture, our very lives. Are you still prepared to do this?   OK.  Take my hand.  I love you. Together now.  Jump!!

  3. There won’t be any survivors, we always make sure of that. We’ve got our orders – scorch the entire planet, wipe out all life. We’re good at our job. In and out again within the allotted time.
Planet Earth will be ready for its new inhabitants by a week on Wednesday.

I look forward to reading your comments
