    Losses and sorrows have not spared me.
    Happiness and joy have kept me buoyed.
    Dreams have sent me soaring.
    Reality has kept me grounded.
    Through it all, your love has kept me centered.

  2. Marco Pablo’s work had always been disturbing, unconventional, anti-establishment. Many in authority would have loved to see him and his paintings destroyed but his popularity amongst the people stopped them from acting.

    Then came the coup.

    The Generals started their regime of terror by imprisoning their opponents and many of the country’s intellectuals and artists. Books were burnt, works of art destroyed.

    And the gallery which once housed many of Marco’s paintings is where he now hangs.
